Since my pictures were accidentally erased from our computer I have been a little unmotivated to blog, until today. Out of 6,000 pictures erased, the ones I am going to miss the most are my tons of bug pictures. I may never get the same chance to see some of those bugs up close again, but I must move on. So today while my daughter and I were floating our homemade lemon peel boat down the gully I saw a mommy spider with her sack of babies. I got down on my knees (in my favorite summer skirt) and crawled through the grass, camera in hand, chasing that fast little mommy.


She was a quick one!

Yeah I was blogged!

My brow was very heavy today with life happenings and the loss of my 6,000 pictures from my computer, until I was convoed on Etsy that one of my products had been blogged. Yeah! Things are looking up!

1. The few years that we have of our children's lives that we can make them feel safe at night. You know a makeshift bed next to yours, holding their hand until the fears all disappear.

2. A cup of tea in the cool breeze of morning with memories of Maine in the summer.

3. My cousin Wendy's weird kid Wednesdays.

4. Signs of almost ready to be eatin veggies.

Summer is here

Last night was the kickoff to "Sounds Exciting 2008" summer concerts in the park.

Hazel Miller was playing.

Definitely wear your new favorite summer concert skirt. It's fun to dance in after a couple glasses of wine.

A nice sprinkle of rain to cool things off.

Next Wednesdays performers "The Indulgers" sound like they will be fun.
