More bugs
Millipede
Dragon fly
I saw this dragon fly earlier in the day, so I went and got my camera waiting for a shot. It never happened. Then on my way home from picking up Jaden from school I noticed the little bug dead on my dashboard. I feel kinda bad about that, so this picture is in it's honor. Then tomorrow he gets to go to school with Jaden, because they happen to be learning about bugs right now.

Forgot what I was doing
I have been so distracted lately with not having the best camera or not writing a blog that is of any help to the world that I totally forgot why I even started this blog...to show my everyday experiences through the way I see the world. Duh! Now that I'm over feeling sorry for myself, here is what I experienced on Saturday.

How to Avoid Bisphenol-A - thedailygreen.com
I never even heard of this before, but now that I know I will be watching out. I know it may take a lifetime to feel the affects of this BPA, but why not at least keep an eye out.

If you don't feel like reading the article here are some short notes:
(Until state or federal laws outlaw BPA in consumer products, you can protect yourself by:
*
minimizing your consumption of canned food and canned beverages, as BPA may be used to line the cans; choose fresh or frozen food and bottled juices instead
*
buying only water bottles or baby bottles that explicitly say they are BPA-Free
*
using glass baby bottles and reusable water bottles made from stainless steel or aluminum
*
avoiding plastic food and beverage containers that are made with #7 plastic; you should see the number in a triangle on the bottom of the bottle.) -The Daily Green

The Peace Table
This is the Peace Table at Jaden's school. I just thought this was pretty cool.
(Take a deep breath
work it out
face each other
look at each other
talk in a nice soft voice
take turns talking
take responsibility
(say what you think happened)
ask forgiveness
say your sorry
be a good listener
tell the truth
take your time)

Harvesting
Thanks to our family for helping us harvest the garden at the house we were staying at for two weeks. We could not have done it without them.
Those yellow tomatoes were defintely a favorite for little Kam.
(Speckled & White beans)
(All different types of tomatoes)
Yummy, fresh from the garden before dinner snacks.
(Thank you Jenny for the great photos)

6 months later
I have no idea how many people out there read my blog, but for the people who do here is our most recent picture of my cousins and I since we shaved our heads for St. Baldrick's.
Head shaving day. March of 2008.
Now. (from left to right, Jenny, me, Wendy)
(So, as Aurora mentioned this weekend, all of the people who donated to St. Baldrick's should know that they're getting they're money's worth. It's not like we just shaved our heads and are now back to free and easy hair care. We're now going through that uncomfortable stage of 'growing it out'. Which, in my opinion at least, is less fun than actually being bald.
Because there's no bed head when you're bald. -Wendy)
