Thank you soulemama for inspiring me to be grateful today.
1. The few years that we have of our children's lives that we can make them feel safe at night. You know a makeshift bed next to yours, holding their hand until the fears all disappear.
2. A cup of tea in the cool breeze of morning with memories of Maine in the summer.
3. My cousin Wendy's weird kid Wednesdays.
4. Signs of almost ready to be eatin veggies.
What are you loving today?

Summer is here
Last night was the kickoff to "Sounds Exciting 2008" summer concerts in the park.
Hazel Miller was playing.
Definitely wear your new favorite summer concert skirt. It's fun to dance in after a couple glasses of wine.
A nice sprinkle of rain to cool things off.
Fun for the whole family.
Next Wednesdays performers "The Indulgers" sound like they will be fun.

Wacky places to visit in Colorado part 1
Bishops Castle, San Isabel National Forest:
Every year since 1969, Bishop has single-handedly gathered and set over 1000 tons of rock to create this stone and iron fortress in the middle of nowhere. Bishop calls it "a monument to hardworking people" and "America's biggest, one-man, physical project." "I always wanted a castle." -Roadsideamerica.com
