Have you ever thought about your funeral songs? I do a lot for some weird reason. You know the songs that are going to play at your funeral, the songs that represent your life and who you were. Well SCREW THAT here are a few of mine while I am alive. These are the songs that I love, the songs that I crank up and dance like a crazy mad woman to, and or are so deep to me I cry every time, the songs that are the closest to my heart and soul.....Cat Stevens If you want to sing out
Katrina and the Waves Walking on Sunshine (I liked this puppet singing better than the original video)
Flamming Lips Do You Realize
Sigur Ros Saeglopur (This video is a little intense for some people)
These songs are not meant to be seen in a video, but felt from the heart. If you decide to play along close your eyes, crank it up, and just feel the music.
Recently a huge swarm of bees landed at my dad's house. They hung out for a few days before he called Shultz bee removal to ask what to do. Shultz said the bees landed there to talk about where to put their bee hive and that they would leave in a few days. That didn't happen, so Shultz came out to remove them and place them elsewhere. It was very quick and harmless to the bees. But of course before they came, being the weird bug lover that I am I had to get in there and get some pictures of this very cool sight.
My little brother graduated today!!! Yeah Grant!!!!
Oh yeah and being the fun sister that I am I had to embarrass him, so I bought his friends and our family silly string to cover him in. Hee, hee, it was great!
I found these in a garage sale pile that was going out after our grandmother was put into a nursing home. I thought the fabric was so cool, so I saved them to someday finish. That was only a few years back, he, he. Well one of them has now been finished, by my friend at Shooting Starz Home Decor, yeah and I love it! The fabric is a linen with wool crewel embroidery and you can find vintage crewel for about $80 a yard. Holy cow! I love finding treasures like these.
